Katie Scott was Tyler’s close friend, co-worker and an inspiration to many.
Throughout Tyler’s sarcoma journey Katie has been a constant inspiration to help in his battle.
She lit up every room with her smile and personality.
Her energy was contagious, and she was passionate about helping anyone in need.
In Feb 2018, Katie lost her fight to a rare bone cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. During her battle, she received multiple blood transfusions which helped her recover from chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Receiving those transfusions were critical to her quality of life and ability to keep fighting. We are so thankful to those who donated blood which allowed Katie more time with family and friends.
